Meet Toby!
I’m a father of three, teacher, photographer, musician, and wedding DJ.
I’ve been teaching guitar to students of all ages in the Charlotte area since 2000. For over two decades, I’ve had the chance to perform as a guitarist with Dean’s Duets and DJ weddings with Split Second Sound — traveling from the mountains to the coast and playing in some of the most beautiful places in North Carolina.
I originally bought a camera to create play-along videos for my guitar students… but along the way, I fell in love with capturing moments.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph families and events all across North Carolina and beyond — often in the same incredible places I’ve performed. But no matter where I go, my favorite moments to capture are the ones at home.
Those memories — before braces, before they’re all grown up — are treasures worth holding onto.
And that’s what I hope to give to every family I work with.
That’s what led me to focus on preschool photography — capturing those early, joyful moments for other families before they pass by.

As a dad, I know how quickly these years pass. The smiles, the baby teeth, the little personalities — they don’t last forever. Having photos of my own kids during this stage of life means everything to me.

OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE PICTURE DAY EASY FOR TEACHERS, FUN FOR KIDS, AND BENEFICIAL FOR SCHOOLS THROUGH OUR BUILT-IN FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS.
